Another day.... another beginning.. another end
Well, its been quite a while now since the last post. Its been quite an interesting time at home since soray and vip have rediscovered their passion for the "longbottom leaf" ;) And the effects have been there to see not just in real life but also on the cyber world. You can pick up the trail in cyberspace in the shape of a post on soray's blog.
Went with nats to check out the comp she was thinking of buying. After a preliminary check it seemed alright and she's gone ahead and bought it. Played cricket with soray and vips yday after they had smoked up. Enuf to say have never played a game of cricket like this before. :) Beats even abi playing after drinking ;)
Made a trip to the local library with sank and nats but decided against issuing any books after the last two experiences of issuing 3 and reading none. :) Sat up all night trying to get vips' laptop to load win98. The situation is eerily familiar. For want of a game a steering wheel was lost. For want of a steering wheel a partition was lost. For want of a partition an OS was lost. For want of an OS a laptop was lost. All for the want of a steering wheel. I am hoping it doesnt come to that ;) It better not or vips is not going to be too happy ;)
Well an eerie thought struck me the other day. Some of u might know abt fractals, the recurring patterns in nature. Its said that fractals compose most of nature. What if our lives itself were a fractal. I mean what if everyday of our life was in some ways reflective of our entire life as a whole. :) Now if only I could identify the underlying pattern that is common to every day of my life. Well nag if u reading this think what this could mean to all of us ;). hmmmm..... so this is what happens when you spend too much time in the hazy passive smoke of "longbottom leaf". :) Over and out folks.

If the fractal thing is the effect of u not readin any of the issued books from the library...god knows what will be the effect when u actually start reading the books....;)
my friend, you have cracked the mystery of life! and the day you grasp that underlying theme, all will be clear to you - the scales shall fall from your eyes, and the truth will be in front of you to see!
by the way, do you now agree that the "(n-1) principle" does work when it comes to the matters of the 'longbottom leaf', as you call it!! by the way, where did that name come from? neville longbottom, from harry potter??
well now u know why I didnt issue any books this time around :) and soray I did agree with the n-1 principle since the first time :D Longbottom leaf comes from "Lord of the Rings" where they grow the stuff in the shire and Longbottom is the guy who first grows it :)
Last semester we had a guest lecture by Stephen Wolfram(you know him right!)...he gave a really good talk on fractals and linked them with cellular automata...thatz his current research I guess...
