Weekends 101

Well some wise soul once said "Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless." You wont find people more committed to this theory than the guys of 33 Heath, well atleast some of us ;) The much awaited Saturday arrived and brought with it some much loved warmth. You heard it right. It was a good 16 degrees today and that put paid to any thoughts of work :) It just didnt feel right to waste such a nice sunny day.

Spent the morning completing some work and chatting up some friends ;) It was fun catching up. Unfortunately, a certain someone's net connection is again acting up. Well Phal, I thought those days of net/comp/mssngr problems were a thing of the past :) Hopefully the problem has been solved now.

Trotted around to do some grocery shopping and for once didnt have to carry it back since Ash's rented a car. We came back and decided to go play cricket. The backyard was completely yellowish green as fall kicks in with a vengeance and the leaves realize that its that time of the year to leave their attachments with the trees and renew their acquiantance with the ground. ;) The rain all morning had rendered the playing area completely wet and the batting area was very soggy. Vips got the bright idea of substituting coal ash for sawdust and once we dusted the area with it, we were all set to go. The wet ground meant that the ball was gripping and turning, not to mention the exaggerated variable bounce. It was one crazy session.

Came back and made some food. Its almost time to see if our experiments with tikki have come out good. ;) Thats it for now folks. Food beckons and its one call that you dont want to ignore...... Over and out ...

There was never a doubt regarding my expertise in eating. ;) Unfortunately, that expertise doesnt extend to cooking yet. Let me clarify for the sake of the doubting sceptics that I did "help" vips cook. ;) Im hoping that all this helping will be instrumental in rectifying the situation ;)

Btw, anonymous can you please sign the post. Although I have a pretty good idea as to who it might be its always better to be sure.;)
