Weekend !!!!!!!!!
Its over. And it wont be back for another week. Thursdays are always a major pain. Got up in time to turn in some assignments. Trotted from one class to another all the while absolutely dazed after a night long session of Monopoly. Thankfully stayed awake through the classes with a lot of effort. Had a conference of an altogether different nature in between ;) Seminar time came and then the brain just gave up. Concepts like shear rates, flow separation, flow regimes are tough enuff on a normal day. Trickled out of the seminar in the cover of the dark unable to take it anymore. Met up with Nats and we got talking abt different things. Thanks for listening and the advice :). We got interviewed for the college magazine on post electoral sentiments. Sank joined us soon after and met some of his friends, katie and some others. Left soon after to return home only to find the main route blocked up after an accident. Ended up taking a different route and got home. Just when I thought the day was over we decided to pay the outlet malls a visit since we had the car with us. We got going , and continued on and on and on and on... Well Im guessing you get the picture. :) Was great fun although my legs might have something different to say about that. Finally got something I have always longed to have .. a pair of Caterpillar boots. I dunno why I have been fascinated by them but the very concept of a heavy engineering firm making boots has an appeal that is hard to resist. They were available for some unbelievable prices and that alone would have made the whole trip worthwhile.
I have lost count of the number of shops we must have visited but by the time we got home it was pretty late in the night. Had another long session of monopoly with a few peeks in between at the riveting contest between India and Australia at Mumbai. India scraped through in a thriller to register a consolation win. Well one thing I have always liked about this team is their ability to fight from seemingly lost situations. Thats a legacy left behind by the captain who had to sit out this game with injury. You need people to put their hands up when the chips are down and be counted. This team has quite a few of them and thats always heartening. This is what makes this team special. Its good to see that quality still exist. That brought up what has arguably been the most hectic of days to a close.
A special transmission to Kommander Kosh. How u doing buddy and what you upto?Do drop in a mail sometime. :) Time to end this one here.. over and out. ...
