Crawling Thin Ice !!

Walking (or was it slipping) today on the ice that had formed on the roads after the snowfall was metaphorically similar to the state life is in right now. The amount of work that needs to be completed before the next two weeks are out is mind boggling. :) It does feel like walking on thin ice. ;) As Floyd would say

If you should go skating
On the thin ice of modern life
Dragging behind you the silent reproach
Of a million tear stained eyes
Don't be surprised, when a crack in the ice
Appears under your feet
You slip out of your depth and out of your mind
With your fear flowing out behind you
As you claw the thin ice

Birthday wishes go out to Abi !!! Happy Bday buddy ... hope u havin a blast. Pity we aint there to give GPLs :)

Watching India win at Eden Gardens was one of the only highlights of the week. One shot from Sachin made the watch worthwhile. A lofted six executed with the utmost ease was a throwback to the days of old when the lofted shot would cause palpitations among opposition bowlers.

Well its time to get back to the work now. Hmmm.. as abi put it so succintly.. working throughout.. watching the odd cricket clip .. metallica driving the adrenalin and keeping the sleep away ... ur there buddy .. ;)

Okk I am not a Dravid fan, but Sachin could have let Dravid have his fifty instead of hitting two fours in a row to finish the match.

Well on 2nd thoughts, he needed the two fours to "maybe" bring back his confidence...

Well Im as big a Dravid fan as of Sachin. I mean he's the guy who wins you matches away from home. :)

I was watching the match and feel Sachin gave Dravid enough chances to get his fifty ;) but Dravid was more content on making sure his end was safe being the "team man" that he is. :)
