Back to Work !!
The honeymoon had to end sometime or the other :p. After idling away the first half of the vacation its work with a vengeance and when its time to work I find myself rusty. Even basic programming precepts seemed difficult let alone the maze that is windows programming. Its beginning to get back to tat stage where u reach the comfort zone. :)
Thats when it struck me that this is something that is representative of life in general. Everytime you try something new or get back to something after a while the beginning is always painful, mental or physical. You start to realise that with everything, be it acads, physical activity, playing a sport or anything else its always the start that is difficult and the key is to stay in there till that threshold to the comfort zone is crossed. :) Haa.... this is beginning to sound like the concept of stuckness that Robert M.Pirsig talks about in his book "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". This is one book that I will never ever forget and those words on the first page originally by Plato ...
As my bro keeps saying the thing with good books are that you remember exactly what you were doing and how u felt when you first read the book and so it is with this one.

And what is good, Phaedrus, and what is not good - need we ask anyone to tell us these things?

I remember taking that book from you and not being able to finish it. Probably wrong time, wrong place, wrong way? Will try it again sometime.
heheh rite :) I think we had enuff discussions in our wing without having to get to this book ;)
From honeymoon to windows to motorcycle...hehhee...wat a sequence..;)!!! Oh boy...wat a plunge!!!:p
hmmm in fact there is something in what you say rite.. It was perhaps the right time and place that allowed me to relate to the book. I do remember clearly reading it for the first time and thinking it was rubbish. Well read it for the second time some years down the line and for some reason everything seemed to make sense. :) Well here is a link to the ebook on the net
