Poetry!!

Its been an enlightening last two days for various reasons. :) Have been learning something new almost every day and its been all good. Got through some stuff yesterday and that means the next deadline is now off till next friday which gives me some time to regroup. :) Planning to go to a basketball game today evening with sank and that should be fun.

Caught up with nag after a while and got to sample his poetry again :) Here is a nice one reprinted with permission ;)

Monday Morning Monkey

There, and Back Again.
I wake to the dolorous drone. of my alarm clock.
Sleepy eyed and clumsy gait
Lead me to Myself in the bathroom mirror.

There i stand, towel in hand.
Im a toothbrush warrior
Foaming at the mouth
Brandishing my toothbrush sword.

But there's nothing and no one to fight.
Except the monday morning monkey.
Who stands before me
Brandishing a toothbrush ...
