Updates !!
Its been a long time since I posted anything on the blog. Its been hectic these last two weeks and yesterday finally got free for a while. Should be back to regular blogging now and whats more should be able to post pictures on the blog now.. although I am still debating on whether to do this.
Its good to get back to a schedule now that school has begun again. I and sank have been going to the gym regularly again now after a brief hiatus. It feels good to go regularly again. The winter's got a grip of this place as it touches -28 celsius rite now. Walking long distances in this cold isnt a very desirable thought and for once I am pleased that my house is not too far from the bus stop. :) Its just about the distance when u start loosing sensation in your legs.
Made some new friends thanks to sanks volunteer work at the international students orientation. Have been tinkering with the idea of creating a photo blog but every option that I knew of seemed to involve too much time and that is one thing in short supply rite now. My bro then informed me of another of google's creations picasa and hello. The verdict is that both products rock. These guys never cease to amaze me.. the underlying principle behind all of google's products is there. Simple, fast, efficient and elegant. Ill give it a try this weekend and see how it goes.. if all goes well u shud see a photo blog up soon.. and who knows .. an audio blog too .. :)

My request: Post the pics on this blog only. There are already so many blogs I have to go through daily to keep myself updated! Dont add one more to the list..
Btw, Picasa is not Google's product but I agree to the "Simple, fast, efficient and elegant" funda. And Picasa is not needed for posting pics on blogs, Hello is enough. I have been using Hello and it rocks! Only trouble is that you have to edit the Subject later on...

hmm rite... I didnt know abt the picasa thing till yesterday... I must be slipping ;) The website says its powered by google.. so im guessing it uses google technology in some way. The thing with google is, you somehow associate it with linux and that is always a good thing :)
Yes, it feels good to be back :) As for the photoblog ive been thinking for a long time of revamping this whole page structure to incorporate it. Havent got around to thinking abt it. If I do put up a photoblog ill make sure it ties up with this one. :)
Oops sorry, forgot the tell the whole story. Picasa is not a google product but they bought it last year. My mistake!
And yaar, I can sense how cold you must be feeling (-28 degrees!), remember even KGP's cold used to give you shivers.. :)

Yeeeee...photo blog, audio blog and all....Kool do it soon and then temme too cos me goin home for 2 days and then i can implement it too...(hopefully with sum able guidance and time wont b a constraint)???:D!!!! Missin my "animated" PC..;)!!!
well rite .. agree on the cold thing. kgp was kind of a stepping stone to such things :p im sure u remember the first year of winter where I could barely leave the room due to the cold :p Thank god I got used to the kgp cold or I wouldnt have survived in the buffalo winter.
As for the photoblog deeps, lemme get around to going through it first. :)
