First Day !!

Its the first day at work and it promises to be more interesting than the previous one. The fact that it pays more helps as well ;) It allows me to work on something I like while still allowing me the opportunity to interact and meet with the many PYTs, which I believe is the right term ;).

All is not well in the robotix arena. :( Things have been simmering for sometime now and it has just boiled over now. In a way part of the blame lies with us and its only fair that we own up to it. In our quest for technical excellence we didnt pursue the goal of economic independence for the organisation with the same zeal and its come back to bite us in the back. It was obvious that while the organisation was small it wouldnt attract anyone's attention but the moment it started getting succesful the vultures would close in .. and close in they have. But this is just the beginning and is certainly not over yet.. not if we can help it.As they say its time to man the battlestations and get ready for the long haul :)

Went to watch the basketball game and the team rallied around after an indifferent start to post a win in overtime. Thats the first sign of a good team, their ability to fight on one of their off days.

Loads of work has piled up over the week and have been busy trying to get some of it off my back before the break is over. For a change am looking forward to the work. A message to the one who cannot be named -- this is the time to channelise some of that stubbornness ;) Time to end this one here .. over and out :)
