Human Nature
LONG POST WARNING !!!! --- All sleepyheads go directly to the second half :p
I have been taking the last two days off and lying at home trying to recuperate and coaxing my body to recover from the abuse I have unwittingly heaped on it in the last few months. Trying to read Carl Jung and its leading me into the dark sinister alley that is human nature.
Sometimes I do wonder at what duality is. It intrigues me. I wonder how dark, mysterious uncharted warters fires my imagination while it is the rock solid reliable people that get my respect. Why is it that I hate drinking, smoking and all other such activities while loving the thrill of breaking protections, and traversing the underbelly of the net which comprises of parallel sites that google never reaches, the ones you hear of through word of mouth and stumbling upon them. Why is it that while I dislike establishments and institutions I dislike cults, and communities with equal intensity. They are in essence parallel institutions with different set of rules, but institutions nevertheless and with rules all the same. Why is it that I refuse to belong to either institutions or cults. I just am me. :)
I am reminded of a converstion a long long time ago..
Person A : What do you think is wrong with people? How can they accept this life and go on?
Person B : Just make your peace with the world my friend.
Person A : Yea.. perhaps I do need to. After all it does take all kinds to make up the world.
Reading Jung has been an experience in itself. :)
Today got a message from one of my juniors who is a part of robotix who went on to inform me that there was a kid back in iit in first year who looked like me and according to her who talked just like me too :p and this reminded them of their first year treat when we were the ones treating them. This group of juniors have taken the competition to a different level altogether. You guys have made us proud. I sometimes wish I had been more involved after I left IIT but I believed and continue to believe that we did what we had to do. Now its ur baby.:) You have to learn from our mistakes, make your own, learn from it and that is how the organisation could improve. Well Lath a treat is certainly in the offing. Thanx sofia for reminding me of the treat. Work has been a bit hectic.. but I promise to get things moving this weekend. :) The best wishes to all the final years in charge of robotix. I am sure it must be as emotional a moment for you guys to have been involved with the last robotix. But its time to move on. New hands will take over and with it will come fresh ideas that will take this to the next level.
Well a special message to a very stubborn person. Hope everythings fine. :)
On a different note .. where the hell are you rite.. If you reading this give a call sometime. :) And munds I got ur comment on the blog.. but cannot find which post you had left it on. I just received your message on my email. Ill try calling either you or nevaj or tk over the weeknd. And dhimonda .. there has to be a landline I can catch you on. I simply for some reason cannot seem to get your mobile. I have to hear your travails with the kgp interviewer. :)

How considerate of u 2 post tat warnin....:p!!! I dont think it wud be of much help cos due to the inherent "curious" nature in humans..they wud most surely wanna knw wats written in the first half and so they wud read it, albeit,sleepily..:p!!!!

You were always very perceptive werent you munds. Its been a while. :) As for the writing you know wat dhiman calls it rite.. bakar#$@%.. :D giving huha vague fundaes have always been a strong point ;) You dont know how good it feels to use the lingo again... the only time i get to use it is when i talk to rite. :)
Having a great time here but its impossible to not miss all those days of AOE/CS, the discussions in the wing, those late nite trips to norenda and cheddis.. the waterfights.. rebooting ppl off the net (u do remember tat) ;) and of coz when the matches start the time in the common room :) talk to u soon..
I should have known Carl Jung would spark a post;)...that has got to be more sleep inducing than any post you write;)
And I agree you do write well, if only more abstract that I usually am:)

Well pinku i shall take ur constructive criticism in my stride ;) knowing that polar bears have a very different way of showing appreciation.
as for the homi .. jehangir is back at his HQ in atlanta .. working on something new :p
As for kisoriiilal .. i suggest talking with a bit more respect.. we all know the outcome of ur talks with munds whenever u used to land up at my wing ;)
