Snowing !!!!

The weather gods have decided to oblige all forecasts. Got up in the morning feeling a distinct chill. Given that I do not really get chills down my spine from the many nightmares of some people who keep haunting me I was a bit perplexed. It took me a while to remember that there was a possibility of snow in the forecasts. Went out to have a looksie and voilaa.. it had snowed and had now switched to sleety rain. And I thought we had seen the last of the snow atleast till the next december. :( Ohh welll.. What it did make for was a picteresque environment. I decided to battle the cold and click a few pics. Putting up the one I like best.

Started yesterday morning beautifully. Got up late, got some work done before engaging in my favourite activity in noon. Its always good when ur day starts well. Managed to drag myself through the rain to south campus to get some work done on a project. One good thing about studying here is that you get to meet so many people from around the globe. I met this guy from Peru who had a lot of anecdotes from back home. He talked of everything from the beautiful beaches and the even more beautiful people on the beaches in Lima to the drug trafficking which for a long while comprised a large chunk of the economy. He was talking of how different the beaches there are in the sense that the water is really cold that comes from the southern Pacific. Its cold to the extent that you cant stay in the water for more than half an hour while the temperature outside is nice and warm. He had a very interesting take on the feuds that have plagued Southern America and the reasons behind it. I am inclined to agree with it and it sort of applies to what happens around South Asia nowadays.

Went back to north campus after finishing up with the work on the project to have a look at Nats' thesis presentation. She's done a great job of creating a physical representation of an abstract concept. As a proof of concept it does a beautiful job of it. I have to say that the "Matrix" projections towards the end that we were fiddling with could have made a little biased. :)

Got talking to sandy again and we should be able to get back to work after a couple of weeks after the semester has more or less wound down.

Time to end here.. over and out..

thanx rite :p Yea i know wat you mean.. saw the same pic on a normal monitor at work after another frnd told me abt it and the pic was totally black.. but on the camera monitor itself and my laptop monitor it came out beautiful :) as for the camera itself.. It gets pretty amazing reviews and I will post a few other pics that might prove this .. but if nething sucks its the person behind the camera.. not the equipment itself ;)
